Join Brainerd Public Schools for friends, meals and more! We are offering free kids meals in and around town this summer. Washington Education Building offers free breakfast and lunch. Meals are served Monday-Friday, 8:30-9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., respectively.

Make sure to stop in on "Taco Tuesdays" and our other special foods days (June 28 Goldfish Day, June 29 Pulled Pork). The Washington site also has local Farm2School products when available and four smiling cooks everyday.

In conjunction with Operation Sandwich, Brainerd Public Schools offers bagged lunches at a number of locations around town. Brainerd Schools bagged lunches consist of sub sandwiches/uncrustables, chips, fruit, fresh vegetables, juice and milk. A new site to Brainerd Public School and Operation Sandwich this year is Jaycees Park. Bagged lunches are provided free to all children 18 and under Monday-Thursday.

Are your kids hungry for knowledge? Brainerd Public Schools and the United Way are excited to offer bagged lunches and books at multiple locations this year! The book wagon will be available at select Operation Sandwich sites and Brainerd Public Schools is excited to have most of our elementary school libraries open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
