January and February are peak months for respiratory influenza infections. Flu symptoms include fever, dry cough, sore throat, headache, extreme tiredness, and body aches.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, the ways to reduce your risk of illness include:

 Good handwashing.

 Adequate rest.

A flu shot. It’s not too late to get one.

 Antiviral medications.

Contact your primary medical provider right away for a prescription if you start experiencing flu symptoms.
