Blueprint 181, the comprehensive long-range proposal to address the facility needs of Brainerd Public Schools, will be presented to voters as three ballot questions on a special election scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, 2018, with early voting beginning on February 23. As part of the district’s effort to inform residents of the three question proposal, public information sessions open to all are being planned throughout the school district.

The public is invited to attend any and all of the following information sessions. Blueprint 181 plan details will be presented and there will be time for questions and answers.

  • January 25, 6:30 pm, Lowell Elementary Gym
  • January 29, 6:30 pm, Brainerd High School North Campus Cafeteria
  • January 30, 6:30 pm, Harrison Elementary Gym
  • February 1, 6:30 pm, Garfield Elementary Gym
  • February 5, 6:30 pm, Riverside Elementary Cafeteria
  • February 6, 6:30 pm, Washington Educational Services Building, Room 200 
  • February 12, 9:00 am, Brainerd Public Library
  • February 13, 6:30 pm, Forestview Middle School Cafetorium
  • February 20, 1:00 pm, Brainerd Public Library
  • February 22, 4:00 pm, Central Lakes College Cafeteria
  • February 22, 6:30 pm, Nisswa Elementary Gym
  • March 5, 6:30 pm, Baxter Elementary Gym

    Additional public information sessions are scheduled throughout the day and around the community in the weeks leading up to the special election on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. These dates, as well as additional information about the Blueprint 181 plan and process, can be found at blueprint181.org.
